Why Are You Receiving This Notice?
This Biometric Data Privacy Notice outlines how Bonvoyage Living Corp. (including its subsidiaries and affiliates, collectively “Bonvoyage”) collects, uses, shares, retains, and disposes of your Biometric Data when you use our services. “Biometric Data” includes:
(i) Biometric Identifiers, which are measurements of your biological characteristics, such as retina or iris scans, fingerprints, voiceprints, or scans of hand or face geometry; and
(ii) Biometric Information, which refers to data derived from Biometric Identifiers that can be used to identify you.

What Biometric Data Do We Collect?
We collect face geometry data.
Why Do We Collect It?
We require guests to provide government-issued identification before check-in to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and to prevent fraud.
In some jurisdictions, we are legally required to collect photos of government-issued IDs for compliance with regulations governing hospitality services.
How Do We Collect It?
We partner with third-party service providers like Persona or Chekin to capture photos of your ID and face. These service providers compare the face geometry from the ID and selfie to securely verify your identity.
How Do We Use and Share It?
Our third-party service providers collect your Biometric Data solely to verify your identity.
These service providers do not share your Biometric Data with us or any other third party, nor do they use it for any purpose beyond identity verification.
Bonvoyage can only view the photos of your ID and face to facilitate check-in and meet legal record-keeping requirements. We do not have access to your Biometric Data.
How Long Do We Retain Your Biometric Data?
Bonvoyage retains access to the photos of your ID and face for the purpose of processing your check-in and complying with legal record-keeping obligations. However, we do not retain your Biometric Data.
Persona: Deletes your Biometric Data immediately after identity verification.
Chekin: Deletes your Biometric Data two weeks after verification.
What Happens to Your Biometric Data After the Retention Period?
After the retention period, our service providers permanently delete your Biometric Data so it cannot be recovered or reconstructed.
